Description
Our commitment to environmental sustainability is embodied in “Kijani Kenya,” a flagship project dedicated to addressing climate change and restoring critical ecosystems. Through this program, we focus on protecting and revitalizing mangrove forests across 23,000 acres in five coastal counties. Based in Watamu, we engage in comprehensive environmental restoration efforts, including reforestation, habitat enrichment, and community education on sustainable practices. Our work not only aims to combat climate change but also to provide local communities with sustainable livelihoods and enhanced environmental awareness. We are also developing community projects for orphans, widows, and persons with disabilities within the Kijani Kenya framework, ensuring that our environmental efforts are integrated with our social impact goals.
