Carbon Credits

At Reach Out Reach One Foundation (RORO Foundation), we are dedicated to advancing environmental sustainability through carbon credit projects. As an implementing NGO, we collaborate with partners to develop and manage carbon credit initiatives in the Agriculture, Forestry, and Other Land Use (AFOLU) sectors. These include:

• Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR)
• Agricultural Land Management (ALM)
• Improved Forest Management (IFM)
• Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD)
• Avoided Conversion of Grasslands and Shrublands (ACoGS)
• Wetlands Restoration and Conservation (WRC)

We work closely with Verra and Gold Standard, leading carbon credit certification bodies, to ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of environmental impact and sustainability. By integrating these initiatives into our broader environmental efforts, we aim to enhance carbon sequestration, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote sustainable land management practices across Africa.
